What is a Skill Reinforcement Pod?

At Xponents, our approach to transferring learning encompasses a combination of on the job assignments, skill refresher audio tools, followed up with social interaction in a virtual community of practice, and group coaching using experienced certified Leader Coach/facilitators. Your group will meet six times, over the next 90 days.  See Logistics and General Information for details.

What is a Permalink?

A Permalink is a URL that points to a specific blog or forum entry after it has passed from the front page to the archives.

Please Note: Since this is a private, password-protected blog, and all posts and comments are confidential, Sharing Permalinks is not permitted.

What is a TrackBack?

TrackBacks were designed to provide a method of notification between websites: it is a method of person A saying to person B, “This is something you may be interested in.” To do that, person A sends a TrackBack ping to person B. TrackBacks are typically sent from one weblog to another when one publishes a post that includes a link to the other weblog.

Please Note: Since this is a private, password-protected blog, and all posts and comments are confidential, TrackBacks are not permitted.

How do I subscribe to this blog’s feed (RSS)?

When you password protect a blog it also applies to the RSS feed.  It is possible (though our experience is that it is also challenging) to get updates in a newsreader for a site using the username and password of the URL. Not all feedreaders will work with a password protected blog.  If you are not able to subscribe to this blog, we recommend that you save the link in your favorites and visit the site often to check for updates.

How do I post the answers to the questions for each assignment on the Discussion Forum?

Select the category Discussion Forum. Select the posting for the current session (example: Session 1). Select Comments. Respond to the questions that are posed.

Who do I contact when I have technical problem?

Post your questions directly to the blog by selecting the category Technical Problems. A posting called Questions & Problems will appear. Select comments. Document the challenge you’re having and the best way to reach you. Typically we will respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday in the following fashion:

  • First preference will be to post a comment on the blog. Watch for our response.
  • Second preference will be to e-mail you with a recommendation.
  • Last resort, will be to place a phone call to you.

What is an Affiliate?

There are two ways to have an Affiliate relationship with Xponents. When you enter into an Affiliate Agreement, which is a legal contract, you can sell or refer our products to your customers, and you get paid for your efforts. The three tiered payment structure, earns you extra money depending on your level of involvement in the sales process.

Some Affiliates decide to enter into a Teaming Agreement with Xponents, because they want to certify to deliver specific programs or offerings. Xponents only certifies experienced leader-facilitators who are also certified coaches.

Why become an Affiliate?

It may make sense to broaden the offerings you have available to your clients, especially if they are not competing products with Xponents. For example, you may be an Executive Coach, but don’t have coaching workshops for managers. If you identify a need exists for one of your clients and that Xponents is a good fit to meet those needs, we want to honor your contribution and ensure it is financially beneficial for all involved.
